I have the older Steinsaltz Reference Guide, so I don’t know much about the newer version, but this was a great resource when I was first learning Gemara in college. I like the Frank Dictionary it’s easy to digest and understand key phrases.
What other resources did you first use when learning Gemara.
I’ll be working through the Gemara of Megillah with my daughter for the next year, maybe a little Yerushalmi, and Esther Rabba and beginning Sukkot with my next daughter.
