I’ve been thinking about Purim for months at work. It’s a big project this year and there are so many components that I hadn’t even really thought about what we were doing at home for Purim this. What are my girls going to wear, what are we putting into Mishloach Manot, etc.
So here are some things I have found.
12 Assorted Foam Animal Masks for Birthday Party Favors Dress-up Costume for $5.49 or $0.46 a mask
These might be cute to add to the Mishloah Manot. Or for us to wear.
Glitter Maracas (1 dz) for $5.99 or $0.50 a piece
Could be cute graggers.
Child’s Costume, Bumblebee Tutu Costume for $10.93 in Small
Wizard Of Oz Costume, Dorothy Costume for $12.32 in 1-2 years
Rubies Witch Wig, Black, One Size for $6.70
Rite Lite Purim Cookie Cutters for $7.62
For year’s my mother-in-law has made challot in the shape of Turkeys. They are individual roles that are shaped like a turkey and have raisins for eyes. They are absolutely adorable.
In the last year I have seen a lot of Challot designs. Kveller posted today a picture of a Turkey Challah that I posted to my pinterest page last year. I thought it would be a great idea to post some Challot ideas.
A great way to get kids involved.

I was an exclusive user of the Trader Joe’s Chocolate Chips until a few months ago, when their hecksher certification was changed from Pareve to Dairy. Every time I go into Trader Joe’s I ask when it will change back. Last night, while at Trader Joes, I asked again. The answer I got was at this point in time they are not planning on moving back to being pareve. I really do prefer the Trader Joe’s chocolate chips over other pareve chocolate chips. It’s a shame that they won’t be changing back because with dairy chocolate chips I have many other wonderful options and as long as they are dairy I have no plans on purchasing them. Have you found a good alternative? Are you still purchasing Trader Joe’s chocolate chips?
I love Anchor Hocking casseroles. Amazon has a great set on Sale, that has a lot of great sizes and a bunch of custard dishes. I use these for checking my eggs or my wash on Challah.
